Built by expert jeansmiths on non-automated machines in downtown Raleigh, Raleigh Denim has been our staple provider of raw White Oak denim jeans for 10 years, but not this time! Victor and co. got a hold of a roll of Selvage Calico Wabash, known throughout the vintage scene as the cloth of Stifel, a work fabric producer that was based in West Virginia in the 19th and 20th centuries. Calico is made from drill cloth, a natural twill, usually left hand, that is overdyed after being discharge printed onto with wax, leaving behind a design that the dye doesn't penetrate, known as wabash. This dot stripe pattern is the most classic version of the aforementioned process, and can be found on coveted vintage overalls, coveralls, chore coats, and work shirts, but now is your chance to get a brand new pair of britches in this storied cloth!
Cut in their most relaxed fit, the Alexander, Raleigh Denim left no detail behind. Selvage coin pocket detail, and selvage busted outseam, half-lined back pockets for rip protection, numbered edition black leather patch on waistband, antiqued two-prong rivets, and donut button fly, just to name a few.
These 10oz. wabash pants are the perfect 3-season addition to your closet, and promise amazing fades with wear!
All pants sold by us are hemmed to the length of your choice on a Union Special 43200G two-thread chainstitch machine, so just make sure when buying online to denote in the comments section at checkout!
