The Pecos 8060 Hawthorne Muleskinner Boot
Originally debuting in 1953, the 8060 Pecos Boot is Red Wing’s pull-on work boot, initially designed for cowboys and later adopted by oil field workers, farmers, and builders. Reintroduced as part of Red Wing's 120-year anniversary collection, revisiting legacy styles from the last century. This version is cut from Red Wing's Hawthorne Muleskinner leather, a weather-resistant roughout from the brand's S.B. Foot Tannery. Built in the USA, the boots feature Goodyear welt and Puritan triple-stitch construction, finished with Red Wing’s Chemigum traction tread outsole.
What's S.B. Foot Tannery?
Every pair of Red Wing Heritage footwear is crafted with S.B. Foot Tanning Company leather, also owned by Red Wing. The Red Wing Product Development team works closely with S.B. Foot to ideate and bring to life different colorways and textures on hides. A natural by-product from the food industry, leather is crafted with over a century of knowledge to make a premium, longstanding product that ages with grace. Truly one of the secret ingredients that make Red Wing boots so iconic!
