The backstay cover and arch stretch preventer are made of the same material converted into butterfly belt loop on a Union Special 51400 coverstitch machine. A natural gum rubber cup sole from Margom is adhered, then balloon pressed and securely attached and then followed by manually adding a sidewall stitch, just like a pair of old school Vans, allowing this model to be fully resoled after extended use. Internal vamp toe cap is also made from 5oz Ecopell natural leather and internal heel counter made from Opera Go Rain Suede provide long-lasting shape rentention and sweat resistance. Stitched throughout with A&E #69 bonded nylon for extreme seam durability, side wall stitch using A&E #210 bonded nylon. [4 Oz.] Cloth-covered molded ergonomic contour insole for cushioned support and instant break-in, just like the big dogs these puppies run with. Furnished with American Legacy NC-made 100% flat knit braided, glazed shoelaces with durable aglet tips in a tan and olive drab shade, depending on which side of camoflauge is purchased (two options Jungle Leaf Green and Desert Tan).
