Endgrain cutting board with several inlays and a combination of multiple wood species including ambrosia maple, cherry, and sapele.
This endgrain board is made from a unique combination of hardwood species with each piece selected for its specific color, tone and complex grain. It contains several inlays which seal off imperfections in the grain, establishing a perfectly flush, food-safe surface. The sum of its parts is an intricately composed chopping block, part utilitarian object and part art piece. Endgrain cutting boards are known to be gentler on knives due to the vertical orientation of the grain, making it the ideal food prep surface.
Size: 12” x 8”
Sanded and finished with food-safe Mineral oil. Hand washing is recommended to preserve the life of the board.
